Tshavuka Tours is a young Namibian tour operator that was founded by Thomas Ndemwoongela in 2008.

Tshavuka Tour’s roots are deeply embedded in Namibia, and we are a Namibian managed and owned by Namibians.

We specialize in designing safari itineraries that have fair prices, while not compromising on quality. 

 

Aim

 

Our aim is to bring the true culture of Africa back.

We offer trips to most rural areas were people still do fishing the old way, and stories are told around the fire in the open surroundings under the stars in order to reconnect  the  past teachings of African ancient history  with today’s world in perusing skill development with the fundamentals of education.

 

The jackals call and the lions roar as we grow, the road ahead defines infinity.  As part of social responsibility and sustainable development we work with the African wild cats of the savanna and the cheetah Nature conservation. We as  a company also works on the eco friendly system and help teaching young people to help and support  the concept of protecting our beautiful country and the animals.

 

Owner

Thomas Ndemwoongela was born in Angola but moved to Bellin, East Germany with his mother and sister as a young boy.

Thomas spent most of his childhood in Germany before returning to Namibia as a teenager.

It is here in his motherland where he discovered his love for nature, animals, the cultures and traditions of his fellow Namibian people.

Upon completing his tourism studies, Thomas embarked on his journey to work in the tourism industry of Namibia.

 After having worked as a tour guide for different tour companies he decided to start his own.

Today Thomas offers private tours in a relaxed environment around Namibia, Botswana, South Africa and the rest of southern Africa. He speaks fluent German and English.
